It’s rare that a couple wants to have a winter portrait session, so I couldn’t have been more excited for this Mt. Spokane engagement session with Tom and Sharla! It encapsulates who they are as a snowmobile-loving duo so perfectly, which makes this photographer heart happy. Tom and Sharla are getting married this summer at Trezzi Farm and Winery, and I’m thrilled that they’ve chosen Park Road Photography to be on hand to capture their wedding photos!
Congratulations to the Mullavey family on their newest addition, a little boy named Charlie. Baby boys are close to my heart since having one of my own, and this one is a little heart-melter. So much love!
Zach and Shivyon are married! And their beautiful mountaintop wedding has stolen my heart, it was a perfect day from beginning to end. The simplicity and elegance they brought to the rustic surroundings of Silver Mountain made for a stunning day, and I couldn’t be happier for this lovely couple. It’s been a joy to get to know them over the past year, and it was an honor to not only witness them become husband and wife, but to be on board to capture it was well.
This was my first time shooting on Silver Mountain, and it was magical! I feel in love with both the mountain and the staff, and it was the perfect end to my summer season (which is coming to a close early, because I’m having a baby tomorrow!). Zach and Shivyon’s wedding was the perfect close to a beautiful season. Way to end the summer on a high note, Zach and Shivyon!
I have to give a huge thank you to Shivyon and Zach’s amazing wedding party (especially to Landon – thank you, Landon!) for being so kind and helping me carry my gear up and down the mountain. My assistant couldn’t make it to the wedding last minute, and at 9 months pregnant, it was the greatest gift to have so many people offer to carry things for me, I’m so very appreciative. And thank you to Shivyon and Zach, for not being scared to have a 9 months pregnant photographer around to capture their big day – go, team!
As always, thanks so much to the all of the vendors who worked so hard to make this wedding so incredibly beautiful. I loved working with you all!

Shooting a wedding at Beacon Hill Winery is always such a pleasure. Not only are the staff amazing, there’s something about it that feels a little bit like coming home, too. I love everything about this venue! And what a perfect pairing it was with the darling Katie and Blake, who were a dream to photograph on their special day, and just lovely to plan with throughout this past year.
There is so much that can be said about these two, and about the love they share. They’re one of the happiest, most genuine, and thoughtful couples I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and there are so many things that stood out to me about their wedding. For one thing, Katie was the talent behind every bit of hand lettered goodness sprinkled throughout the wedding details, and she did a phenomenal job honoring her family, with a gorgeous heirloom ring as her “something blue,” a special first look with her dad, and beautiful embroidered hankies for both him and herself. Her wedding ring even incorporates diamonds from both her side of the family and Blake’s, and I love that she’s wearing their history on her finger.
As Katie’s maid of honor mentioned, you can’t help but love Katie when you meet her. And, as Blake’s best man mentioned, Katie is Blake’s passion. It’s obvious that he pours his everything into their relationship and making Katie happy, which is just a dream to see. My favorite part of the day was when he snuck Katie away after their ceremony, for some private time together, just the two of them. He had arranged for flowers, champagne, appetizers, candles – the works – to be set up at a little table away from all of the hustle and bustle of the wedding day, and I think it was the best surprise ever.
Cheers to this happy couple, and here’s to many more years of passion and surprises!
Thanks to all of the amazing vendors who made this wedding so lovely!
