Spokane Wedding Photographer :: Katie + Nick = Romance

This wedding is going down in the books as one of my all-time favorites.  Katie and Nick put so much thought into every last detail, and everything came together perfectly on their big day.  This couple is truly special, and I couldn’t be more honored to have captured the love they share!

Spokane Wedding Photographer :: Hannah & Byron – Finally!

I loved that this was a theme of Hannah and Byron’s wedding after dating for 10 years, “Finally!” They incorporated cute little signs with the slogan into their reception decor, and it even made it’s way into a toast or two made by their parents.  So much love, and for such a long time deserves a great celebration, and it was wonderful to play a small part in making their day special.

Images of two people in love are always my favorite, so I wanted the focus of this post to be on Hannah and Byron as a couple.  Our portrait session began with the sweetest First Look, where they each read a love letter written by the other before the big reveal, and ended with a kiss as they walked to the church to say their “I do’s.”  What a wonderful day to witness!

Hannah, and Byron, thank you for inviting me to capture the day when you FINALLY became husband and wife!  xo

Happy Things: Anniversary Love!

I’m so flattered to have been asked to capture Larry and Pam Terpstra’s yearly anniversary photos, and I had so much fun laughing with them and getting to know them better during the two afternoons we spent together in early October.  Even after 37 years together, these two still have that “spark!”  The love and passion between them is so wonderful to be around, and the quote Pam sent me describing their marriage sums it up perfectly: “Time’s promises were kept, our love never left.”

The Terpstras own the amazing wedding venue, Belle Victorian Gardens, and Pam is the extremely talented stylist behind Romancing the Stone Styling.  Here is a look at our first afternoon together, a gorgeous session on the lake styled by Pam herself!
